Hello Anthony Good to speak with you just now. You said that, since you started the NW, many residents and the demographic of the road had changed and you agreed that you will try to reactivate Dorchester Gardens Neighbourhood Watch scheme. A suggested way to do this is to make up a flyer (do use the NW logo), introducing yourself as Coordinator for Dorchester Gardens Neighbourhood Watch. Also set up a Dorchester Gardens NW WhatsApp group and invite your neighbours to join by WhatsApping you their name, mobile number and house number. If you add them yo your contacts you can then add them to the DGNW WhatsApp group. You should also ask them to go onto https://www.ourwatch.org.uk/joinNW and join NW and the Dorchester Gardens scheme, making themselves registered with NW. I hope this will work and look forward to seeing membership of DGNW scheme increase, hopefully covering all your neighbours. I can see that the current scheme includes you as coordinator and 12 other members, However, as you are aware, only 5 of those actually reside in Dorchester Gardens. Maybe you can contact the other 7 to find out if they really meant to part of DGNW or would prefer to join a scheme nearer where they live. I can also see that there are 3 people living in DG, who are registered with NW (one self registered and two registered via Dorset Alert), whom you could add the scheme. (On their flyer you could tell them you've done this). Once you have registered a reasonable proportion of you neighbours I'd be happy, if you / they wish, to visit and give some background about NW and answer any questions. You might also like to make contact with your Local Police Team (NPT) to introduce yourself and the DGNW scheme You could also suggest to your neighbours that they sign up with Dorset Alert at https://www.dorsetalert.co.uk/ Plenty to be getting on with!
